Connor Bubash: Man killed after losing control of motorcycle

Arkansas State Police said a man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle after running into another vehicle.

According to the fatal crash report, the crash happened at 10:29 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct.9, on Interstate 55 at Mile Marker 37.

The initial summary stated 26-year-old Connor Bubash, of Munster, Indiana, was driving north on a 2023 Harley Davidson when he ran into the left rear of a 2021 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 57-year-old Carl Allen Shows, of Dexter, causing loss of control.

“The motorcycle left the improved portion of the roadway, slid along the roadside, struck two cable barrier support posts, and came to rest entangled in the cable barrier,” the report stated.

Shows was hurt in the crash and taken to South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola.

ASP said the road was dry and the weather was clear during the crash.
