DAYTIME PARKING
Except at the Jubilee Car Park and Jubilee Surface Lots, daytime parking fees run from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. the following day (due to performances). Day pricing for the Jubilee Surface Lots and Jubilee Car Park are available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
EVENING PARKING
Except at the Jubilee Car Park and Jubilee Surface Lots, evening parking fees are valid from 5:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. (due to performances). Day prices for Jubilee Surface Lots and Jubilee Car Park are available from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
METERED HOURLY PARKING
Hourly parking is available at many locations across campus, including:
- Lots 700, A, C and E
- Van Vliet Centre
- Stadium Car Park North, East and South
- St. Steven’s East
Except for single-head meters, which are $4 per hour, hourly parking costs $5.50 per hour. Except at Newton Place Commercial, where there is a flat cost of $5.50 after 5 p.m., there is no time restriction on metered parking. Single-head meters on campus could also be subject to time restrictions.
PARKING PAYMENT
Purchase hourly or daily parking through our U-Park pay stations or our HonkMobile app. Our pay stations accept coins or major credit cards (and do not provide change).
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
UAlberta provides designated handicap parking on site and elevator access from our car parks. Learn about accessible parking across campus.
MOTORCYCLE PARKING
Motorcycle parking is permitted at designated locations on campus. Find motorcycle parking areas by using the lot type filter of our lot locations list.
When parking a motorcycle in a parking structure and not in a surface lot, users must use a puck under their kickstand in order to avoid damaging the floor. Motorcycles not using pucks may be subject to a fine.
BUS PARKING
All buses visiting campus must reserve a parking spot. Bus parking is $75 per day.
